• What Are The Rules of Freedom Camping? Respect the area you stay in. Your vehicle should be self contained so you leave the area exactly as you found it. Respect sound levels if there are other people or homes nearby. Freedom camping really is about freedom for New Zealanders who want to enjoy the countryside, respect is the main tenant.
