INSURANCE COVER OPTIONS

A) COMPULSORY STANDARD INSURANCE
NZD32 per day and excess of $2500 for any one damage. No cover for windscreens or tyre cover. Please note that the excess applies to each single vehicle accident including loss or damages to third parties, the rental vehicle and its accessories. Windscreen/Window replacement will carry an excess of $1500 and any chips will carry a $300 excess per chip.
For longterm rentals the total insurance payable is capped at 60 rental days or NZ$2500 per hire.​
Security bond: $1700 for any NZ drivers any other countries will be subject to a $3500 bond.
FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS THE EXCESS IS $3500 PER ACCIDENT/INCIDENT
B) STANDARD INSURANCE WITH GLASS COVER
NZD49 per day and excess of $2000 for any one damage. Windscreens, windows and glass cover is included. Please note that the excess applies to each single vehicle accident including loss or damages to third parties, the rental vehicle and its accessories. Windscreen/window replacement will carry an excess of $500 and any chips will carry a $120 excess per chip.​
For longterm rentals the total insurance payable is capped at 60 rental days or NZ$2500 per hire.​
Security bond: $1400 for any NZ drivers.
FOR ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS THE EXCESS IS $3500 PER ACCIDENT/INCIDENT
C) FULL COVER INSURANCE PACKAGE INCLUDING GLASS & TYRE COVER WITH LOW EXCESS
NZ$98 per day will reduce the excess for any one vehicle damage to NZ$1000. Windscreen/window replacements carry a $250 excess each and chips $95 per chip. Please note that the excess applies to each single vehicle accident including loss or damages to third parties, the rental vehicle and its accessories. Includes compulsory standard insurance and windscreen/tyre cover (excludes service for changing a tyre and limited to one tyre replacement per trip).​

AA + Roadside assistance @ NZD195 for duration of trip, compulsory for all international travellers and complimenatry for locals (NZ Residents). We do not cover personal liability or lost, stolen, or damaged personal items in our insurance.
